Daana by Sultan Essancy - Eau de Parfum for women and men
Top notes: cinnamon, honey, osmanthus
Heart notes: benzoin, labdanum, ambergris, artemisia
Base notes: tonka bean, vanilla, musk, patchouli
Daana smells warm, golden and deep. Cinnamon glows over honey while osmanthus weaves in soft fruity petals. Benzoin, labdanum and ambergris deepen the warmth before tonka bean, vanilla, musk and patchouli gather it into a velvety embrace.
Honeyed warmth touched by osmanthus
Honey is more than sweetness here. It feels dark, viscous and almost balsamic beside cinnamon. Osmanthus lightens that richness with an apricot-like floral nuance, giving the opening a sensuous and surprisingly delicate fruitiness. Its golden aroma possesses an almost tangible density.
Cinnamon dusts dry heat over the honey, like fine spice across golden syrup. The contrast keeps the opening alive. Sweetness and spice remain closely connected, yet each possesses a distinct, almost tangible surface.
Benzoin and labdanum like dark amber
Benzoin melts into the honeyed warmth, while labdanum appears darker and more resinous. Together they resemble deep polished amber. Ambergris adds a cooler mineral sensation, preventing the heart from feeling too dense, sticky or enclosed.
The resins give the perfume a warm, velvety density. They surround osmanthus without concealing its fruity floral glow. A soft golden petal remains visible beneath the darker warmth, bringing quiet beauty to the richness. This gives the heart a precious, shadowed glow.
Honey and labdanum create delicious depth without turning into dessert. Cinnamon keeps sweetness dry, and ambergris opens a little space around it. Daana therefore feels abundant while remaining calm, supple and carefully balanced.
The bitter green breath of artemisia
Artemisia introduces a bitter green breath to the heart. Its aromatic nature stands apart from honey and resin. That small resistance makes the warmth more intriguing and gives the fragrance an individual, gently mysterious character. Aromatic bitterness makes every honeyed nuance more vivid.
Beside ambergris, artemisia feels cool and almost silver-toned. Labdanum and benzoin remain dark gold by comparison. These different temperatures give the Eau de Parfum sensuous depth that cannot be explained by sweetness alone.
Osmanthus finds an unusual companion in artemisia. Soft fruity petals meet aromatic bitterness, with cinnamon and honey glowing between them. The floral presence stays perceptible even as resin and vanilla create greater warmth.
Tonka, vanilla and tender musk
Tonka bean and vanilla make the later impression creamy and rounded. Tonka offers gentle almond warmth, vanilla a smooth sweetness. Musk softens both, making the perfume feel like warm dark fabric against the skin. Creamy warmth settles calmly over the darker materials.
Patchouli places dry earth beneath the creamy notes. It echoes the bitter artemisia and the dryness of cinnamon without smelling like either. The tender base gains composure and a natural, slightly shadowed depth.
Musk preserves pale softness among the resins. It links creamy vanilla with cooler ambergris and dry patchouli, allowing the scent to feel warm and supple rather than heavily sealed beneath its richer materials.
Oriental sweetness grounded by patchouli
Anyone drawn to oriental sweetness with genuine contrast will find honey, cinnamon and vanilla alongside herbs, resins and earth. Every warm sensation meets a drier companion, so the fragrance can feel lavish without losing balance.
Its golden palette is especially attractive: honey, osmanthus, benzoin and labdanum glow, while artemisia, ambergris and patchouli cast quieter shadows. That interplay makes the Eau de Parfum sensual, serene and full of restrained tension. Every contrast strengthens the rich amber-colored atmosphere.
A warm veil of honey, vanilla and tonka bean remains, threaded with cinnamon, aromatic greenery and dark resin. Musk makes it tender and patchouli grounds it, leaving Daana rich, velvety and quietly mysterious. Resinous depth remains remarkably tender and refined.
