Lattafa Ayam Haloa – Eau de Parfum with Bamboo, Pear and Lotus
- Top note: Bamboo, pear
- Heart note: Lotus, blossom, cassia
- Base note: Musk, woody notes
Green bamboo over cool pear, lotus at the centre. A bright fragrance with a clear line.
Bamboo and pear
The opening is green and cool. Bamboo smells of freshly cut wood and water at once, with a clear, almost transparent quality.
Pear lays a cool, lightly watery sweetness beside it. The pairing reads clean and orderly and gives the fragrance its bright direction from the start.
Lotus at the centre
The heart belongs to lotus. It smells floral and watery together, soft and without the weight of classic white blossoms.
Cassia adds a warm, lightly spicy facet and further blossoms give width. In this phase Ayam Haloa turns rounder while staying in its bright line.
Musk and wood as the close
The base is deliberately kept lean. Musk brings a clean, soft warmth reminiscent of fresh laundry.
Woody notes set a dry grounding against it. The fragrance moves closer to the skin and accompanies your immediate surroundings without taking over a room.
The right setting
Ayam Haloa works all year but is strongest in spring and summer. Warmth brings bamboo and lotus forward most clearly, while in the cold season the musk base comes through more strongly.
It suits everyday wear, the office and daytime meetings. It is easy to wear and fits situations where a perfume can stay in the background. To wear it in the evening, use a little more material and add some to clothing.
Why bamboo works as a note
Bamboo is a note that does not exist as a raw material. It is reconstructed and stands for an idea: freshly cut green, water, cool air.
That is exactly what makes it useful in fragrances like Ayam Haloa. It gives a freshness that is neither citrus nor floral and so opens its own space between the two.
Asdaaf is a line within the house of Lattafa Perfumes, founded in Dubai in 1980. Within it Ayam Haloa represents the light, green side. The bottle holds 100 ml.
How it behaves on skin
Bamboo and pear hold for about half an hour, then the lotus takes over. The fragrance stays bright throughout, which separates it from many florals that turn heavier toward the middle.
From the second hour the musk does the work. It draws the fragrance closer to the skin and makes it softer without losing the green line of the opening.
Testing Ayam Haloa for the first time, after three hours you will find a considerably softer, more powdery version of the start. That calm is intentional and makes it usable across long working days.
How to wear it
Apply to neck and wrist. For the evening add some to clothing, where the musk base holds particularly long and often stays recognisable into the next day.
Let it dry down after application and avoid rubbing it in. Store the bottle away from light at room temperature.
