Aswad Oudh carries rose, frankincense, musk, patchouli, mandarin and oud through the entire pyramid. Rose and mandarin give the accord a brighter side, while frankincense and oud provide dark resinous depth. Patchouli and musk connect the two poles.
A dark floral-resin accord
All six notes remain at the heart. Frankincense gives dry smokiness and patchouli earthy structure. Rose is not delicate beside oud but a clearly perceived floral contrast, while mandarin sets small bright accents.
Oud, musk and patchouli in the base
The base also holds rose, frankincense, musk, patchouli, mandarin and oud together. Oud and frankincense define the depth, while musk softens the edges. Rose and mandarin within a dark oud-and-incense accord define this distinctive perfume-oil profile.
