Pear with bergamot and pink pepper
Musk Al Aswad places pear beside bergamot and pink pepper. Pear makes the opening soft and juicy, bergamot adds a bright citrus line, and pink pepper brings dry spice. The fruit therefore has definition rather than a confectionery character.
Heliotrope, ylang-ylang and liquorice
Heliotrope gives the heart a powdery floral facet. Ylang-ylang makes it warmer and fuller; liquorice introduces a darker aromatic contrast. These notes lead the fruity beginning towards a softer, richer middle.
Vanilla, black musk and vetiver
Vanilla, black musk, patchouli, vetiver and chocolate form the base. Vanilla and chocolate add warmth, while vetiver and patchouli supply a dry earthy side. Black musk joins the materials. Pear and heliotrope thus meet a darker vanilla-wood foundation.
