La Jawaab Sultan Essancy Eau de Parfum – for women
Top notes: raspberries, mandarins, lemons, bergamot
Heart notes: jasmine, gardenias, orange blossom, ginger, roses, amber
Base notes: caramel, liquorice, vanilla, milk, sandalwood, amberwood, benzoin, coumarin
La Jawaab begins bright and fruity but ends in a much creamier gourmand direction. Raspberry, mandarin, lemon and bergamot create a lively opening. Jasmine, gardenia, orange blossom and rose then meet ginger and amber before caramel, vanilla, milk and sandalwood soften the foundation.
Despite its many sweet materials, the composition is not a simple dessert fragrance. Liquorice draws a more bitter line through the base, while benzoin, coumarin and amberwood add depth. La Jawaab remains feminine and indulgent but carries enough floral, spicy and woody contrast to feel layered.
Raspberry and citrus create a juicy beginning
Raspberry brings sweet-tart fruitiness, softened by the sunnier roundness of mandarin. Lemon and bergamot add brightness and stop the berry note from becoming too dense. The opening therefore feels vividly fruity while still keeping enough freshness around its sweeter side.
Citrus makes the raspberry feel less candy-like. Bergamot in particular adds a lightly bitter edge, while mandarin rounds the shape. The result feels feminine and inviting without immediately revealing how creamy and gourmand the later base will become.
As the citrus settles, raspberry remains as a soft bridge toward the heart. Florals then move forward and the texture changes from juicy fruit to greater floral fullness. Ginger introduces a dry, lightly sparkling movement that keeps the transition from becoming too smooth.
A generous floral heart shaped by ginger and amber
Jasmine, gardenia, orange blossom and rose make the centre rich without becoming monotonous. Jasmine and gardenia feel creamier, orange blossom brighter, and rose adds classic floral depth. Together they catch the fruit and guide La Jawaab into a noticeably softer middle.
Ginger sits among the flowers as a spicy counterpoint. It does not bring heavy warmth; instead, it contributes dry, lively sharpness. The heart therefore keeps moving. Amber adds a warmer depth and quietly prepares the gourmand base without covering the floral character.
This middle stage is essential to the balance. Without it, the path from raspberry to caramel could feel too direct. Flowers create space and polish, ginger adds definition, and amber links the floral side naturally with the warm sweet notes that arrive later.
Caramel, milk and vanilla become creamy rather than sticky
The base reveals the most indulgent side of La Jawaab. Caramel and vanilla provide clear sweetness, while milk makes the texture creamier. Sandalwood reinforces that softness but also gives it a woody frame, so the foundation feels full without becoming only about sugar.
Liquorice is the most interesting counterpoint. Its bittersweet character sits beside caramel and vanilla and prevents an entirely smooth gourmand base. Benzoin and coumarin add balsamic warmth, while amberwood brings a drier structural element into the final stage.
Several different kinds of sweetness therefore work together. Caramel feels dark and warm, vanilla soft, milk creamy and coumarin gently tonka-like. Liquorice and woods hold those facets in place. La Jawaab becomes rich without turning one-dimensional.
Feminine gourmand character with a clear structure
La Jawaab suits a taste that does not want fruit and florals separated from gourmand warmth. Raspberry opens with juiciness, white flowers bring fullness, and the base becomes creamy and sweet. Each phase is distinct while still carrying traces of what came before.
Orange blossom, jasmine and caramel are especially important to the feminine warmth of the fragrance. Ginger and liquorice stop that softness from becoming excessive. If sweet scents appeal to you most when they include a slightly bitter or spicy resistance, La Jawaab offers more tension than a simple vanilla composition.
Sandalwood and amberwood matter as well. They give the creamy base a frame, ensuring milk and caramel never stand completely alone. La Jawaab therefore feels gourmand while still behaving like a complete fragrance built from fruit, flowers, spice and wood.
From bright raspberry to milky caramel warmth
The development is easy to follow, and that clarity is part of its appeal. Juicy fruit and citrus lead, then a generous floral heart takes over, followed by caramel, milk, vanilla and warm woods. La Jawaab becomes progressively rounder and creamier.
Yet the fragrance remains animated. Bergamot, ginger and liquorice create small points of contrast at three separate stages. Those details preserve definition and allow La Jawaab to feel feminine and indulgent without collapsing into a completely smooth cloud of sugar.
