Lime and kumquat
Mahjabeen opens with lime and kumquat. Lime gives a clear tart citrus note, while kumquat adds lightly bitter citrus fruit. The opening is bright and dry before the many floral notes appear.
Iris, violet and lily of the valley
Violet and iris lend powdery facets to the heart. Lilac, jasmine and lily of the valley broaden them with several bright flowers. The middle places a layered flower picture against the citrus freshness without settling on one bloom alone.
Malt, vanilla and pale woods
Vanilla and malt bring warmth to the base. White musk and ambrette make it soft, while sandalwood and cedar add a clear wood side. lime remains a recognisable reference point in Mahjabeen.
